Cairo, Egypt: With effect from January 1st, 2020, Eng. Raed Soub has been appointed by the Arab Fertilizer Association (AFA) Board Members as AFA’s new Secretary General.

Cairo, Egypt: With effect from January 1st, 2020, Eng. Raed Soub has been appointed by the Arab Fertilizer Association (AFA) Board Members as AFA’s new Secretary General.
Mr. Raed Soub; recently appointed as the Secretary General for the Arab Fertilizer Association, formerly the advisor to the Chairman of the Arab Potash Co. (APC), Eng. Soub is an international manager whose main qualities were influenced and shaped by his solid educational background, where he completed his bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering in 1989 from the University of Jordan. Since then he has been considered a Chartered Engineer by the Jordan Engineers Association. He also became an active member in a number of diversified and influential associations like; Jordanian Environmental Society (JES), Jordanian European Business Association (JEBA), Jordanian Businessmen Association till he was granted his certificate in remote sensing, Navigation & global position systems by the ERDAS Inc. in 1996, and has been regarded by LLOYDS as an Authorized Proficient in 1997.
With his vast experience in establishing private companies, setting in the infrastructure and strong foundations, Eng. Soub was able to create, and structure more than 20 international companies in various sectors which positively impacted the society and countries where they operate in, additionally these companies were successfully chaired, directed and generally managed by him since 1989 to date.
Not only are these his major accomplishments and areas of expertise, he is knowledgeable in numerous fields varying but not limited to; Fertilizers and Fertilizer industry, Potash, Phosphate Mining Industries, Dead Sea Products, Logistics Operations Management, Marketing and Advertising Policies, Commercial Banking and Stock Exchange Market Trading, Chemical Engineering, Jordanian & Middle Eastern economics, political and social affairs.
