Under the patronage and presence of the Minister of Agriculture, Water Resources, and Fisheries, and the Ministry of Industry, Mines, and Energy, hosted by Groupe Chimique Tunisien, the seminar on "The Latest Applications of Digital Technology and Artificial Intelligence in the Fertilizer Sector" has officially opened.

 


Tunisian Republic: Today, the specialized seminar on "The Latest Applications of Digital Technology and Artificial Intelligence" was inaugurated, organized by the Arab Fertilizer Association. The event was attended by His Excellency Mr. Abdelmonem Belati, the Minister of Agriculture, Water Resources, and Fisheries, and Her Excellency Ms. Ahlam Al-Baji Al-Saib - chief-of-staff of the Tunisia's Ministry of Industry, Mines and Energy, as well as His Excellency Chemist Saad Abu El-Maaty, the Secretary General of the Arab Fertilizer Association, and H.E. Engineer Abdullah Fajrawi, the General Manager of the Groupe Chimique Tunisien, Mr. Mohamed Ben Omar, representing the Arab Information and Communication Technologies Organization, and ambassadors from different Arab countries. The event saw significant participation from Egyptian, Tunisian, and Arab companies, along with interested and specialized individuals from senior management, engineers, technicians, and administrators across various sectors.

The seminar program, which spans three consecutive days and includes 6 working sessions, focuses on discussing the use of advanced data analytics for making strategic decisions based on the latest developments in digital technology and artificial intelligence. It also covers various applications in the industry, as well as specific agricultural applications aimed at supporting food security systems. The impact of digital transformation and artificial intelligence on various aspects of the fertilizer industry is a central theme of the discussions.
