Under the Patronage and Presence of H.E. the Tunisian Minister of Industry, Mines, and Energy, the Workshop on "Supply Chain and Logistics Management & Documentary Credit" Kicks Off in the Tunisian Capital The specialized workshop officially opened today under the patronage of the Groupe Chimique Tunisien SA, among the period from June 24 to 26, 2025. The opening session was attended by H.E. Fatma Thabet Chiboub, Minister of Industry, Mines, and Energy, Eng. El-Hadi Youssef, Director General of the Groupe Chimique Tunisien, and Chemist Saad Abou El-Maaty, Secretary General of the Arab Fertilizer Association (AFA), alongside the distinguished presence of over 140 participants from Arab and international companies, representing all sectors of the fertilizer industry. The workshop program features distinguished speakers from renowned institutions, including lecturers from the Arab Academy for Science and Technology and Maritime Transport. (AASTMT) The workshop addresses several key topics, especially in the current global events, focusing on trade, shipping, supply chain management, and corporate governance. In addition to a detailed explanation of the benefits of L/C and contracts for both exporters and importers, with a focus on the latest international rules governing letters of credit.
